Wonderful is triumphant: Real. Glorious! True-colours shining. it is what keeps us going when we don’t feel we can… Wonderful requires Namaste eyes: fully-open to Wonder-full-ness consciously choosing to look with loving and healing… Wonderful does not look ‘perfect’: …untainted, sans scars or blemishes no colours or drawing outside the lines… Unnatural. Unauthentic. Unattainable. Wonderful is the celebration: as Love transforms broken… into whole and holy and beautiful… Wonderful sees beneath the surface: mending the fractures shining-through the cracks closing the gaps…
Wonderful looks with new eyes: birthing death into life old wisdom to new earth secular to sacred… Wonderful views differently: opening out to possibility morphing doubt into divinity adding ‘extra’ to ordinary… Wonderful is not ‘waiting for a happy ending’: it is learning to see in the dark seeing ourselves and our world better. Now. Wonderful is ‘Life breaking through’ (despite the odds) witnessed by smiles, scars, snowdrops, stars, Spirit, stories, wrinkles… Cal More (Risking Wonderful, pp.262-264)
An uplifting beautiful poem that sings a strong message.
Thanks Marg – fortunately ‘Wonderful’ is often closer than we think…
